Excellent collection of archeological findings in a beautiful setting, very carefully made. It is not as famous as Ephesus but definitely maintained and arranged in a better way. There is even much more to excavate still, it is a hidden gem to visit a few times if possible. Better to go in spring or early summer due to high temperatures in July/August.

One of the most important ancient cities in Turkey. Definitely 'a must see' and a hidden gem, between Ephesus and Pamukkale (Hierapolis). The hippodrome, theater and many buildings stands and there are much more to be excavated. The museum which is just by the site is full of 2000 years old Sculptures. An amazing archaeological site Just one negative side, the museum shop is very expensive.

The site of this once thriving Roman city dating back from the 2nd and third century BC is a must-see! Even though the weather wasn't on our side; drizzly and grey, we were in awe of its many wonderful remains. From its amphitheatre to its 30,000-seat stadium, there is something for everyone.

An amazing pocket of history. Don’t leave until you’ve explored every corner of the city. There are surprises at every turn and your first glimpse at each of the locations will give you a real rush. Avoid looking at photographs before you go.... let the Greek and Roman creations surprise you
