Beşiktaş İskelesi Beşiktaş'taki iskeleler arasında mimari değer taşıyan tek yapıdır. Günümüzde Beşiktaş-Kadıköy vapur seferlerinin yapıldığı iskele, 1913'te Şirket-i Hayriye tarafından mimar Ali Talat Bey'e yaptırılmıştır.İki katlı ve yağma olan iskele binası zaman içinde birçok onarım ve değişiklik geçirmiştir. 1941'deki planına göre deniz cephesine dik üç bölümden oluşan zemin kattaki bekleme salonunda sivri kemerli revaklı bölüm kapatılmış ve 1948'de bölmelerin kaldırılmasıyla salon tek mekân haline gelmiş, ilk yapıldığı yıllardan yaklaşık 1950'lere kadar düğün salonu olarak kullanılan geniş teraslı üst kat ise 1979'da kısmen camlı bölmeler ile kapatılmış ve bina bugünkü halini almıştır.

So many great memories tied to this beautiful pier. It also plays a huge part in Istanbul’s public transportation.

Beşiktaş iskele, from here you can go to Üsküdar and Kadiköy, paying 2.60 TL for the casual istanbul kart, and you will need 20 min to reach the other side, closed at 12am, around the iskele there is all types of coffee shops and hair makers, restaurants, Deniz muzesi, buss terminal stations

Love this pier! Best place for taking ferry boat rides to many destinations.

One of the most important places in Beşiktaş, it's the station where you can go wherever you want. You can go to the Asia side by the ferry or have some sea tours which you will witness very beautiful sceneries, not to mention the busses and taxis that you can find there as well. Across it there are lots of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars... etc. But be aware Beşiktaş is always crowded especially in the weekends.
